Hello Nooglers, is it possible to internally switch at Google from TSE (AI/ML) to core ML domain? If yes, how and how much time a person would require to work at TSE position? I received interview call for TSE position so I was wondering if this could be a possibility or not.

Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

The anything is possible quote is definitely from his days with the Celtics. The best years of his career were with the Celtics and also where he won his ring. But yes, he started and ended his career with the Wolves.
Iāve seen a number of former actuaries working in HR consulting within the M&A groups of various B4. So definitely possible.

I am a credentialed actuary and have done this ā actuarial work at Aon, actuarial consulting group at Deloitte (where Iāve focused on mostly non-actuarial work but done some traditional actuarial stuff), and traditional strategy consulting at Strategy&/PWC where I mention Iām an actuary when it gives me additional credibility but otherwise donāt.
Only difference is I focus on healthcare. Feel free to DM me.
Thank you so much, this sounds like exactly like what he would like to do!
ACN has strong Insurance practice. I have seen several with actuarial skills do quite well.
There are a number of actuarial groups in consulting, but theyād probably have the easiest time given their background switching into an actuarial audit group that focuses on P&C companies. Definitely a different pace of life and work though - Iām an actuary but Iāve only worked at B4, never in industry.

Our human capital practice still has a small but committed group of actuaries!

D has an actuarial consulting practice where his skills are valuable and other firms will have similar practices. That will be the best fit. PPL with a deep specialized focus like actuary donāt make good general consultants. YMMV.
Insurance and Health Care (Payer) consulting practices would find that background useful. I think Deloitte's Risk and Financial Advisory business hires actuaries as well.
To clarify, he (or should I say me ,@M1) would like to leverage actuary background/knowledge in a regular consulting job but weāre not sure where that background would be most advantageous
