Many who repatriate are lured by a vibrant startup scene in India that is drawing unprecedented capital from venture and private equity firms and is buoyed by an effervescent market for stocks. But they are also disenchanted with what they perceive as America’s bleak and hopeless immigration landscape, where the wait times for green cards are tortuously long, and the limits on launching startups for newcomers are highly restrictive.

Which shall be a better choice in terms of Data Science learning?
I suspect Decision Scientist shall be more towards consulting and less towards development.

My i140 wasn’t shared either. They can technically withhold it, since the petition is from your employer and not you. The AOS is yours and hence you need to see it
Rising Star
I140 is the property of the employer/petitioner. They don’t have to share it with you, and they do give you the opportunity to provide all of your information and to do so correctly. This is not shady.
Not shady that’s how it is everywhere
Did they not post your I140 on the immigration portal? They did for me.
Pro
Same with me. They posted to myMobility like 20days after filing.

Fairly common, but just file a FOIA to get a copy
Just file a FOIA request on the uscis page to get it.
Then just to piss them off ask a random question about your petition and attach it to the email. :)
That does sound shady, you should validate that all the information they submitted about you is correct. Company information should not be a problem since you are an employee, ask if you can sign an NDA to get a copy.
Why is the I-140 useful anyways? Isn’t the I-485 the only thing that matters?
I 140 contains sensitive company information like revenue etc. see the form. No private company like PwC or others will share that with you
You can request a copy from USCIS directly.

They do not share with you for review. It is the employer’s application. That said, they do share the final document after they get the receipt through myMobility. When was it filed? It usually takes 20/30 days to get the receipt for them to share.
(I’m also PwC, same process. They actually shared an almost 150 pages pdf with all that was sent to USCIS.)
Rising Star
By default, but it takes close to a month after filing for them to do so.
Oh! Did PwC immigration team submit right after your document submission? Wasn’t there any follow up ?
The petitioner on the I-140 is your employer and not you. It will not be shared with you either by USCIS, your employer or attorney.
I-140 is basically the company’s justification for hiring you / need and benefit for you getting a green card (scarce skill, etc) and how they will sustain your employment (since technically visa holders are supposed to be paid at a higher rate than prevailing wages). This has pertinent company information (that may not be publicly available). So, if USCIS is RFEing a 140, they are asking more details from the employer and not the employee. Same with PERM.
On the other hand, the petitioner on I-485, 765, 131, etc. is you, and therefore you’ll have access to the filing records and approvals, RFE and denial.

Wrong, a FOIA will return a copy to you
