Startup sounds more lucrative in the long run

Drop Deloitte. CBO is pmo. I’m wary of startups, unless I look at the details and long term looks solid. I don’t know anything about SIP

What round is the Startup? If it’s a unicorn…that should be a top choice. My order would be Startup, Strategy&, Deloitte/ZS Deloitte name is big, but ZS has the same weight probably if you’re interested in HC. These are all good ops but CBO isn’t that attractive and there isn’t a good salary progression at Deloitte like the other options.

How much weight does brand name consulting firms have on top MBA programs? For example, is it significantly better to work for MBB firms vs. big 4 vs. well known specialized boutique firms?

Sometimes I wish I never learned about this career path. Ever since I have it’s only caused me stress and anxiety. Anything I accomplish is never good enough since I always have to be working towards the next goal, whether that be another promotion, more impactful projects, an MBA.

Looking to switch from Audit into another career path. However, just not sure what that would be. My long-term goal is to become a forensic accountant (minimum 10-15 years from now). I can't stop being angry and disappointed in myself. I'm on PTO and decided to take care a few of the household chores. I multi-task all of the time and can't help it. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and exhaustion is hitting me really hard, even worse than in my first tri. I'm sleeping 6-8 hours a night (I'm waking up without an alarm and unable to go back to sleep) but then need a 2 hour nap in the morning (?!?!) to get through the day. Even then, I'm still exhausted and having a hard time focusing when I wake up. Any tips? I've been using melatonin at night, which helps but isn't fixing the whole thing. Ideas appreciated!

What comp can we expect to target after 2 YOE? I’m not miserable in consulting but don’t think I get paid enough. With my promotion in a month, I’ll be hitting 100k and I want to only leave if I can get 110k or more (going for strategy, PM, and a few startup roles). Is that realistic? whens the best time to leave for max comp in the long term?
