First time ask here: I was interviewing for an Executive and Internal Comms Manager role and after three stages, I got word that the role has been paused but the executive I would be supporting if I had gotten the role now wants me to interview for Chief of staff. Is that a good move? I'll definitely still be writing for the executive but who knows if that transition makes sense?

Thinking of going freelance in a few months because I have gone 3 years without a raise and my work-life balance is awful. Also, there are 4 bonuses each quarter with min of 25% as bonus. My total years of experience is 8 years and I am an sap technical consultant. Let me know if this is a good pay.
