Hi PMs! Outside of FAANG, what companies would you recommend (specifically with a Product Manager perspective)? I’m particularly interested in fully remote, Chicago, or NYC based. I’m having difficulties finding a “unicorn” for my next move. I’ll research reviews where a company has high ratings, but Product specific roles typically aren’t very positive.

Squarespace is building up their PM team. There have been some really positive changes since our CPO was hired and I think it’s a good place to be and a good time to join. I’m not a PM but work closely with their team.

That’s great to hear. I’ve interviewed PMs from Squarespace in the past who have complained about a rough product culture stemming from secret projects at the executive level.

Is Squarespace hiring remotely or still just in NYC?

I'm somewhat biased, but I'm really proud of Indeed's Product Management function. It's around 300 or so people but still manages to be incredibly consistent in philosophy and skills at each level across the org. Post-covid have switched to fully remote.

Folks , I’m considering kicking off the job application process again. I feel like I can’t reach my potential as a PM at a consulting firm. The mental toll has been incredibly heavy and I’ve been dreading to login to work and clear the questions for my team and the client.

I'm not sure why l'm nervous, I don't feel like I owe anyone anything. Has anyone else had the same feelings?
