Coding is important... Personally I am more of a ML Engineer whose primary job is to code for the product development. The other aspect of my work is RnD which requires Data Science algorithmic knowledge. To transpire your DS knowledge into a product knowledge of ML lifecycle and ecosystem is crucial and it's okay if you are aware of only traditional and classical ML stuffs. Modeling is a tiny part of the entire work. Very tiny 🙂

Currently working in EXL as Analytics Consultant I. WLB is great but work is monotonous. Want to know if the situation is similar everywhere in service based org or I should go for somewhere else.
