I current have 2 offers. I am more inclined to join company A which is paying 16 lpa. Company B is offering 18 lpa.
I want to negotiate with company A to match the offer or exceed the offer which company B is offering. Need you help how to discuss this with company A.
This is my 1st switch so i have no experience in negotiations.

Getting ready to leave my role - looking for community ops, comm ops, member support, account management - anything in those customer facing roles that is paying minimum 75k. Remote preferred, based in Chicago. Background in freight/logistics and healthcare.

I’ve been an associate at a PE secondaries FoF for about a year and a half, base pay of $83k (bonus of 10%) in a LCOL/ Tier 3 east Coast city.

I want to ask for $110k base (same bonus) at the end of the year to get my comp closer to street ahead of a promotion next year. Recruiters and a peer in a Tier 1 city put PE Secondary associates at $130-$160k base with 50%+ bonus.

Thoughts?

But digging a bit deeper, we could see the lack of skill sets, not up to the market trend with latest technologies. Basically not updating ourselves with new stuffs happening around.

Your YOE nowadays doesn't matter much but skills matters. Keep upgrading your skills if you want to stick to the market trends and enjoy the boom.
