CTC offered by VOIS Vodafone is 28.5 L ( out of which yearly performance based variable pay is 3 L) CTC offered by Tata Consultancy is 29 L ( out of which 3.7 L (92.5K x 4) paid as quarterly performance variable pay and 1L as retention bonus paid after successful completion of 1 year)

J1 & J2 together make about 200k although there is no room for growth in either but WLB is amazing (< 10hrs per week). Stuck contemplating if I should abandon overemploy to chase promotions seeing that I could eventually get to my current salary with my job. Just feeling a little stuck over all. I know many consultants most likely make more. Any one else feel this way or have any thoughts? I was thinking of looking for a different J1 and slowly try to climb up if possible.

(Prior to this I was making nearly $11 less/hour from PT role) PT role was 20 hours/week and emailed ask if I’d be open to 30 which is more appealing. 7.5 YOE in current role, worried about losing seniority in economic climate and risk to layoffs in PT role but being a parent I have been seeking more time not working too. For billable hours in civil litigation and insurance defense, is 2040 hours for a 1st year associate on the high end in this field for a small or midsize firm? It seems like most attorneys I know have minimum requirements of around 1800. The compensation is around 80k a year.

About 3 months ago I moved to a new team within my company. The new role came with a higher pay structure and a senior title. My company is currently giving out performance and salary evaluations for next year, and although I had a great evaluation, I received no salary adjustment because I was just “promoted”. While I’m happy with my new team, I can’t get over the fact that I’m not receiving any sort of salary adjustment. It just feels like I’m getting ripped off. Thoughts?

The offer from EY India is very less and my joining is on 16th. I do not think negotiation will work at this point. Synechron & Altimetrik is offering far better pay than EY India. The difference is Close to 5L. Can anybody through some light here. I have a YOE of 4Y and tech stack- Java/MS/ React. EY is offering 10.5 fixed.

PS: For some reason, my heart is still says EY i don't know why :(
