I have recently joined Cognizant and was taken into project the very next day. However, The billability is heing shown as 'NO' in ESA Assignments. My Manager though is asking to select 'Yes' while applying Time sheet.
Is there is any way to find out overall utilization percent from joining ?
If I am not billed and being asked to work as non-billable should I be worried about layoffs,recession .
I won't be eligible for 22 rating and upcoming April hikes too as I have joined in Oct.

I was an AE for two years, took a promotion at another agency for SAE for only 8 months and am now being recruited for AS at 80k. How many matters is typical for one associate to handle (BL lit)? I know it is group-specific, but just trying to get a general idea. I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?
