I accepted a new job back in the summer of 2020 that required relocation for the office opening in Jan 2021. Office is still closed and I haven’t moved. Now we are rolling out a new plan that you just need to be near an office but only go in a few times a year for specific things. There is an office close that wouldn’t require me to move and I’d prefer to work there given the situation but HR is still insisting I’ll eventually need to move. This is so silly 🙃

Here's the thing guys - I am a campus hire at USI with prior experience in Branding (after my grad, then I did my MBA). They have placed me in support project (i will only get support) in sap fico module. This is not something i want to do and i will leave in a year (because of bonus and relocation). I mean once I get my first offer, I can only negotiate when I have a better offer. But I heard you get a week to accept the offer, so what to do then ??? Also i have 3 months notice period so can I accept and later on with negotiate with better offer, what are chances in this case??? And is this regarded bad faith????

I got selected in Deloitte, after giving 3 rounds of interview.
Holding an offer of 8lpa.
In the salary discussion round with the HR I specified 12lpa(fixed) expected. They said, it is subject to business approval, and this amount is usually not met. But I stayed adamant and asked them to mention 12 itself. Have I made a mistake? will they ghost me?
