Hi all. I started a new role with a company I’ve been with for 2 years. The role is very much an SME role and can be quite boring sometimes. When hired I was told that this role would do a lot of different projects and skys the limit but after 7 months, I’ve been doing 1 project and when asking about role expansion essentially told to stay in my lane. My first thought was performance issues but manager confirmed not that. It’s getting really boring and need more engagement. What should I do?

I am well established in my group and team and really have been buckled in on staying here for the long haul. The opportunities there seems more interesting in terms of missions and financially. I had interviews for companies but one obstacle keeps coming up: I am not a qualified lawyer because is it not necessary to be one when you’re an in house in France.

I do have 2,5 years of experience as a Legal Counsel in Privacy and strong referrals.
