Got an SDM interview at amazon. what should I expect? I reviewed their leadership principles and the questions. What else can I do to prep? What salary range can I expect ?

I have an opportunity working for my dream company but I was told my salary expectations were too high. I was using my last job as a reference since this is a lateral move (I was laid off a few weeks ago). Was I overpaid or is this company just cheap?

Former TC: ~140k (125k base + 30k sign-on paid over 2 years + 50k RSUs w/4 years to vest)

I had a HR Discussion after clearing 2 HCL rounds and 2 client interviews . HR is not considering moving above 40% hike no matter whatever I say to justify, the Discussion was like talking to a wall . Any suggestions to get another 10-15% more (first offer)? Will HR reject me stating this reason in HCL ??
