I have worked in business development for 5 years and quit my work late last year due to personal reasons. I'm now actively looking to get back into work and am considering Luxembourg as an option. Any idea how the job market is w.r.t. non-technical roles(account manager, account executive, etc.) and will companies sponsor visa for such roles??
I am currently based in Madrid where I was last employed.

For those in Houston, how much of your deals are outside of the O&G industry? Considering a move for living purposes but I’ve mainly worked on tech deals and not sure how transferable my skills would be for an O&G/Healthcare industry.

Where / what cases are the best to practice with for MBB? I know there are MBA case books but it seems like they are written by students and not the firms. Which ones helped you secure the offer?

How do I break into CTA or CRC positions? I'm currently a medical scribe but I have 3 years of risk analyst/business development experience in the finance industry prior to this job. I've been applying to many positions and have gotten 2 interviews in the past month and a half. I have a GCP certification from NIDA and have been learning about the industry for a year now. What else should I know in order to increase my chances?

Is getting salary hike only possible by switching a company? My company not interested in increasing my salary from 4.8 to 6LPA but ready to pay 8LPA for new comers. This makes me feel sad to know. Is there a way to counter this?

I feel like I get midway through interview rounds and then start to get cold feet / second guess whether I'm making the right move. Like, maybe better to stay and avoid disrupting this aspect of my life for a bit, just float and coast for a bit.

Attitude about current role and what I want next (WLB or $$ or engagement) changes so much from week to week. Does anyone else go through this and if so, how do you cope?

I currently have the Chase sapphire preferred and Hyatt credit cards. I mainly use the Hyatt just for its perks when I stay there and transfer my chase points to Hyatt since that is the hotel I am loyal to. I just went through LinkedIn and i figured out that mostly all of you are from either of IIM Ahmedabad, Banglore or Calcutta. It kinda demotivated me and have lost hope to even think that i can be a part of MBB someday as i am from tier 2 IIM.
