Aww the compassion we've come to expect from Deloitte

I think you should avoid planning non-essential overseas travel until at least May.

Book refundable plane tickets and/or hotels (typically when you use your corporate rates you can reserve hotel without paying and you’re able to cancel your until near trip date). I wouldn’t buy a plane ticket 6-7 months in advance but you can reserve refundable hotels.

Paranoid I’m going to be fired for low hours. Had a busy October and hit hours, was very slow last month and was like 30 hours short of target, and have been sick with Covid this month and missed a solid week of work, plus we have the holidays coming up. I was hoping to avoid two consecutive slow months, but it seems inevitable. How worried should I be? Firm hasn’t laid off anyone yet …. Class of 2021 for reference

Got let go after completing PIP (got put on PIP after catching Covid and taking a few sick days to recover while coworkers worked when sick) and was asked by HR to sign a Separation agreement that included keeping sign on bonus, a small stipend (few thousand), and next month’s health insurance, but that I cannot sue them for wrongful termination. Employment lawyers ask for money to review the agreement. Do I pay to review the agreement or sign even though it felt like wrongful termination?
