Hi,
I am looking to learn more about the NPI program manager role at Apple. Specifically want to understand the following:
1. What's exactly the day to day beyond the fluff job post?
2. What skills will be considered critical to be successful in the role?
3. How is success defined in the role?
4. What does the career progression look like?
5. What background is considered desirable for this role? Can one get into this role without prior background in NPI?
Thanks in advance!

Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

I started working in TCS on 10th June 2021 and my LWD is 12th June 2022. According to the rules i should be eligible for the retention bonus but my HR is saying i probably will not get it. What should I do to ensure that I get the retention bonus and whom should i contact regarding it?Tata Consultancy
New meaning to Open door policy.
L6 with 7 YOE? I’m a little stunned but hey more power to you. Congrats
RSUs should be much much higher. Also sign on bonus
This was my reaction too. Man I'm under leveled.
First off, congratulations L6 at 7 y o e is remarkable.
Total comp for L6 should be in the 350 range so definitely some negotiating room available for RSU's.
From what I understand you should be looking at 300-400k in RSUs. Most L6s I have polled have gotten in that range. 165 is the lowest I have heard. Anyone who is advising you as fair offer in the thread above is taking their lack of negotiation and low settlement out on you
Pro
If be asking for min $400k, closer to $500k for an L6. Top of L5 is ~$400k
Thanks yall - got a meaningful bump in rsus. Excited to join!! :)
What was the final offer?
Pro
Those RSUs should be wayyyyyy higher
Is it normal to not have a sign-on bonus?
Interesting. For what it's worth I was L3
Thanks all for the replies so far :) got lucky i guess haha - and yes role is in NYC/SF

Congrats! No such thing as lucking your way into L6 with 7 YOE, it’s just impressive
Seems very low for L6. Total comp should be above 350k per year. You can ask more in base or RSU.
Also what is your location? 350 is for Bay area / New York.
Random q but what is HC?

Do you have competing offers? If yes, you can negotiate on equity. If not, you’ve limited upside, but upside nonetheless on equity
2 of the FAANGs - did you guys share numbers? Or just say xyz offer is what im looking for?
Pro
Who do you have offers from and how much above Google’s offer are they?
Probably because salary is so high RSUs are on lower end
That's a fair offer with the base and RSUs for the role for non-tech
Agree; you should be able to push GSUs above 300k (vesting over 4 years)
Lower than my initial offer at L5 in both salary and equity, how do you know it's an L6 role?
1. You had and L5 offer with a salary above 194k...seems suspect given the pay bands
2. The bonus percentage of 20% is indicative of the minimum level
