Dilemma… I left my old company 4 months ago. Today, they’ve reached out to me to ask me to come back at a higher role, Operations Manager. I would’ve jumped on this opportunity if they asked me before. However, this role would be hybrid (2x in office) and come along with more responsibilities and hours than my current WFH role which is very chill. The pay is only 15% more than I currently make. Any thoughts?

Did well in first and second interview. Third interview was behavioral questions which I had a gut feeling I didn’t do well on. Niche consultant position. Was executive in last role. Have sent enthusiastic thank you emails to all three. Would sending a more in-depth addendum email to 2nd and 3rd interviewers to better answer missed questions be over eager?

I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I’m the only person in my role at the company and have been a key person in developing our team as we look to expand. Is this unreasonable? Is there a normal increase given with promotions? Is there any limitation or chances of facing issues on Not having laptop with me(for other exit clearances).

New/pivoting into HR! 👋 Currently working as a TA Coord with a little entry level work in HR Ops prior to this. Is there a SHRM link, reliable test, or method of shadowing the various parts of HR that will provide a sample of the work, thinking, and day to day experience of each group? I didn’t go to school for HR and therefore haven’t had the opportunity to sample HR Ops. vs. TA vs. Comp vs. Benefits vs. Payroll, etc. I know work experience is the best barometer, but what can supplement this?

I have 3 days to accept the TCS offer and i also have 1 offer from CTS ( with almost 2.5 lakh more). The problem is it doesn't make sense to join just for 40k more because of expensive city life.
