MBB em level role vs. director level tech (non FAANG) exit? Coming from b4, roughly 10 yoe. I know it’s probably a personal preference thing but hoping to get opinions here. Tech role is $190k base plus a 30% target bonus. MBB role i got a verbal offer without a comp figure yet but my understanding is it’s around there, maybe 10-20% higher (or maybe much higher depending on bonus).

Didn’t fully expect to get the MBB offer honestly, but both beat my 180/198 b4 comp. Now i’m torn.

Have an opportunity to switch from Big 4 consulting to a boutique shop. Hoping to apply to B school next fall with 3 years of experience - would boutique experience help or hurt my app?

Hello, folks! I wonder if you have any advice/info for a person who is looking for an "investment associate" role in Dubai. I have a financial audit background (4 years Big-4), 1,5 year in deal advisory (half year financial due diligence department, 1 year valuation department). I have experience in TMT, retail, Energy and Utility and other industries. Currently I'm living in Eastern Europe.
What is considered to be normal in relation to WBL, compensations in Dubai for such role or similar?

Tips for IBD Associate interviews for sector groups I have little experience in? I have B4 CF and M&A Strategy (CDD, etc) experience, so I can handle the technicals, but I am wondering what I should do to make up for lack of sector experience. Obviously it's not a dealbreaker since they're both interviewing me off cold apps, but I want to maximize my chances.

Looking to leave my current role, in industry (engineering/manufacturing) and to get back into big 4 (same firm as well), however I have a 3 month holiday planned from December next year.

Are big 4 pretty lenient on allowing holidays of that length? Especially for boomerangs? Or is it better to come back after the holiday and try then? Thinking that contracting temporarily might be the way to go in the interim.

I’m dealing with some hypopigmentation (not hyperpigmentation) as a result of eczema on my face. I went to the derm who provided me with some Tacrolimus but the results are painfully slow - it’s been about 45 days and maybe 25% of my pigment has returned if that.
