Hi! The organization I have been interviewing for has recently put all roles on a hiring freeze BUT decided to offer me a contract role until it lifts (ETA Q1, 2023). My question is what would be reasonable compensation (full time 40 hrs, weekly).

The role is Sr. Digital Marketing & Strategy Analyst for med device company. I have 10+ YOE with undergraduate in visual communications and masters in Information Technology. TIA

If you were my client I would be recommending caution. Are you leaving a secure full-time position? If so, what guarantee do you actually have that you will be offered a full-time position in Q1? It seems that all the risk is on your side in this offer and none on their side. Proceed cautiously. Good luck

Appreciate your input. I unfortunately got laid off so I'm not leaving a full time role at the moment, but currently interviewing and actively considering open creative roles. Thanks so much for your advice! Happy to hear any insight you may have on compensation.

Hi y’all,
I shared an intermediate workout program (Back/Legs/Arms&Shoulders/Leg/Chest split) with a few friends the other day and figured I could also share it with others if interested.

It’s a program I follow outside of my 12-16 training block preps, and if anyone wants, I can share it with them. It’s for strength training.

Also happy to explain what any of the exercises are if someone wants the workouts and doesn’t know the benefit or how to do them.

Feel free to DM me about it

Cheers

I have more than 2 years of experience as software developer. My main expertise is developing android and iOS mobile application. I recently moved to US to pursue my masters degree. As of right now, I am having hard time trying to get a job related to my field. No luck with freelancing sites.
It just sucks that I have so much potential in myself but I cannot live up to my potential.

Are there analytics consulting firms still hiring that work on longer term projects (i.e. 3-6 months)? I'm working in deal analytics and while I actually like consulting, I'm tired of constantly working on diligence projects, having 0 WLB, or being able to think deeply about problems my client has. I don't mind traveling, but would appreciate a firm that has some flexibility on where my home base is.

Also to note I’ve reached 5yrs so I have that 30d paid vacay coming up which I would lose if I took the google offer, if I got it. How honest are people when other companies ask for your comp?

I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? How can I know I'm getting the best salary and not just settling at the low end of the range?
