Recently interviewed with a banking firm, CIBC. Interview went quite well and in the end, the interviewer said that I would be a great value add to the team. Haven’t heard back in 5 days, followed up last Friday and no response. Thoughts?

I am an office coordinator at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and want to break into the field of research. MSK has research coordinator roles, however when I initially applied after graduating, I didn’t get any interviews. I have minimal experience with research from undergrad. I’m not sure if it is possible to switch roles within MSK. I also want to go back to school for an MPH. Anyone have any experience with this or any tips?

I did an initial interview with a firm Thursday morning. They asked for references and I provided them the following day along with my thank you note. In past experiences, I would have heard something by now unless they were not interested at all. Am I wrong to just write this one off?

I have 2 yoe in .net have 4.8 ctc.
Recently gave interview for TCS, after some days one of the recruiters from tcs called me and said that since i had done only BSC-IT they will deduct 6 mnth of expirence out of the total experience so finally i will left with 1.5 yoe, so for that they were offering 5.5 lpa since.

Is ther any rule one who has odne BSC they will not consider 6 mnth experince, thats the reason they have given to me.

Has anyone lost an offer of employment because they didn't reply with a decision in time?

If so what was the length of delay and what was your excuse to the recruiter?

I feel like during the interviewing process you may have multiple interviewers and processes that go along with that, which means you may need time to compare offers. I want to be honest with the recruiter and say I am going to have to wait and compare offers when they are all on the table, which would be ~1 month.

Got a BS in Advertising in 2018 and have good knowledge of Adobe (photoshop, indesign, illustrator). Agency experience for 6 months doing PR, 1 year at marketing agency (google ads, SEO, analytics) and haven’t been able to work for a year due to visa processing so I’ve been doing freelance work: websites, social media… I believe I want to do strategy at an agency but also like consulting firms.
