How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.

4i what degree you have?
Work on your skill that is more than important then degree because doing MCA will take time and some investment as well and you will lose YOE.
Try to switch on better technology through training .
Thank you

Surprised that many here are giving such advice.
If the degree was BTech then I would have also agreed.
But many good company require a BTech or Higher degree and with Bsc many doors will be closed.
Bsc is not acceptable by all companies in India so it is recommended to go for MCA or Mtech for better career opportunities in future.
If possible check if you can complete degree with your job. BITS offer such kind of degrees
MCA won't help to gain skill or salary either. If you've accumulated abit of money and early in career. If you can afford B school, Tech school, go for it. It would help to boost numbers
Plus, don't root for service companies. As you've tagged them. Stick to even small start-up move within products not even captives
It depends from where you plan to do MCA. Higher education always pays off but only if you are planning to do it from tier 1 colleges such as IITs, NITs, IIITs etc. MCA from these colleges can give you much better exposure and with that you can crack jobs in top companies.
Anything lesser than tier 1 is completely useless and these colleges only exist to mint money and don't have right means to provide correct exposure and education.
No MCA. Get experience, that will help.
I did MCA, i know.
Thank you
If you only care for salary , then no need of doing any masters degree. But if you care about knowledge from the masters course and passionate about it then you should.
