Hi there, I have worked in healthcare for nearly 10 years, mostly scheduling patients and procedures, with 2 years experience in Credentialing, compliance and privileging. I am feeling pretty burntout due to also dealing with autistic burntout. Any suggestions on other jobs possibly not in the medical field that would translate well?

Thank you!

Maybe something on the operational side of things? That way you could leverage your experience and stay in the field, but not be patient-facing.

Seems like you'd make a good med rep to me, you've got the sorting and organizing tasks right there. Are you fine dealing with people?

I’ve thought about something like this but I need something where I have little interaction with people and have a lot of autonomy

Hello fishes. Need some insurance advice.
My parents are dependent on me. My 62 yo dad and 57yo mom do some part time work and makes $1000/mon. Dad has some health complications like diabetes, high bp, genetic heart issues, liver problems etc. Does it make sense to get a life insurance for him - 20 yr term, $1M coverage. Premium is around $500. I am thinking I can pay the premium but if something happens to dad, it will help my mom pay be self-sufficient
