So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

You could also just have a bad resume. Start there
Thank you very much for your feedback and comments! It helped a lot and as I took a second look at my Resume, I realize that my Resume isnt as great as I initially thought so I am working to revise it now.
If you’re not even getting to the point of having to explain your situation, then it is 100% an issue with your resume.
Great to hear! Good luck!
Are you getting to the interview stages with any companies or not getting any responses at all?
If you aren't getting interview that's your first issue and you might want to start by getting referrals instead of cold online applications.
If you are getting interviews and are having trouble explaining those two scenarios. Then try to clearly explain what took place and how it led you to applying for this new role.
Also, If you left for a new company, don't say you were looking for more $ rather say you wanted to grow in a certain area.
Not the end of the world to have a couple of short stints on your resume. Especially if they feel you truly know what you want your next move to be.
Anyway, once your story adds up they should look past it and focus on your candidacy for their open roles.
Hope this helps
Thank you for your response! So I would say out of the 70 apps I sent about 30 of them were referrals, but I realized a lot of my apps are either on hold for a couple weeks or denied due to “qualifications not met”. I had tried tailoring my resume to include more keywords, but aren’t having much luck right now
It’s also not a great time to be looking for a job. Feel free to DM if interested in Accenture though.
Not an expert by any means but happy to take a look and share my feedback.
I don't think having two jobs after a 3.5 year stint automatically rules you out. Especially with 30 referrals sometimes doesn't sound right. Outside of it being a difficult market.
Maybe starting over, trying a different format and rewording your experience to drive home your consulting skills might help. Keyword stuffing won't necessarily help, I'd focus on actually driving home your points that you can still back up in an interview.
Any chance you're simply applying to jobs way above your experience level?
Sometimes firms don't care as much about outside previous work experience.

Go the referral route, have a 1:1 with a consultant at a firm you’re interested at interviewing, have a friend/ consultant review your resume. Reach out to people at linked in and ask them for a phone call 1:1 most people if they feel they have a connection with you are willing to refer you.
Thank you for your advice! I would say about 30 of my apps are from referrals and I have tried having Consultant friends of mine review my resume. However, they are all about the same age with same amount of experience so maybe I need to find ppl that are older with more experience
It's totally your resume. Pay someone to build a resume for you

For me, I think it’s the career trajectory I’ve had. I’ve tried a few industries, plus don’t have the top tier background. I went to a state school, was pretty mediocre until after college.
What were the first and second firms? This also matters as much as I hate to say it.
Hello! I can dm you it, but I dont want to write it on here cause i know several past coworkers on here
