“Easy 12-15% annual return” = red flag You out perform the market by almost double on average? Insane dude, you should be running a fund right now

likesmart

Just for the sake of playing devils advocate, some strategies can do very well but only up until a threshold of AUM. OP could truly be doing well but their strategy won’t scale to the “running a fund” level. That’s why investment/trading professionals never care for daytrading experience, as it just won’t scale to an institutional level. But on their own dedicated daytraders can do consistently well for decades.

Saying saying you can get 12-15 easy implies very little risk of not getting it. Maybe not a guarantee but close. Of course it has been easy since the market has returned that over the last several years. I suspect you will not be getting 12-15 easy going forward. That is all I am saying.

I’m far from a beginner, but highly interested in “Alternate investments for easy 12% to 15% return”. I know the market has been 20%+ over the last 2 years, so I’m curious how long your returns have averaged that high.

Btw..I don't do trading..I just do investment by choosing quality stocks. And also if you are invested in mutual funds too for very very long term ( more than 10-15 yrs at least) then absolute return will not less than 12-15 % I guess

My bad I didn't tell, Yeah it's specific to india

I was kind of getting that impression. Not a problem with that but a lot of the comments including mine were from a US perspective. I am sure there will be some on here that could benefit, but the majority will likely not be interested

Just a fyi... How many of us know that there are at least 10 fundamentally very strong companies which gives just dividend more than fd.

Not following. Is your investing advice only for India? If so you should make that clear since most here probably are not concerned about that.
