Hi!! What’s the best way to research ways in which I may structure a company for tax purposes. Specifically one which is registered within the EU but operates in a third country solely. The EU LTD was established as a way to a) mitigate against the instability within the third country b) ensure funds could be easily transferred from clients due to ever changing restrictions. I’m not really familiar with this area of law but have to sort this out for personal reasons

This could be an incredibly complex question that tax specialists like me handle every day. There isn’t an easy answer to this. I’d want to know things like, which jurisdiction is this company? Which jurisdiction are its shareholders from? What does the company do? What kind of income does it have? Will it make distributions? Will it have IP? Etc. I can try to help via DM…but might be a tough one.

PLEASE HELP! I’m a first year commercial litigation associate at a boutique firm. I am deciding between two offers. One is to go in-house paying roughly the same as I make now. The second offer is from big law as a commercial real estate associate, paying double.

I would love to go in-house and never worry about billable hours again but the big law money is super tempting. Advice?? Is the money really worth it?
