I'm wanting to get into tech but all of my expertise is healthcare with various licenses, it seems to be the only field that would at minimum be a lateral pay change at entry level but I'm not sure how to go about making the change. I'd been looking into apprenticeships where I could learn on the job. I'm most interested in developing. Any suggestions of companies that have apprenticeships? Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. HM said we are good to go for interview and sent an invite. On the day of interview nobody turned up, neither they gave an update later. She did follow up for a couple of days but no response. Is there any reason why this happens ? Me being in HR field felt this to be a little unprofessional.
