Copay maximum limit is 40k.
It is 4lakhs coverage for A/AC layer (including self, spouse, children and parents).
For self, full is covered as per rules of Insurance company (standard injectables and some other things are always deducted)
For parents and others is 80% insurance sponsored and 20% Self pay
This is over and above salary. For 4 lakh coverage you don’t need to pay anything from salary.
If you add a top up of extra 3lakhs, total of premium ~10k is cut yearly
No idea about other questions
TCS has 3L + 6k domiciliary for each member that is for self and all dependents. Plus 14L family floater for all member, pays 100% of hospital expenses for each member. Premium is deducted only for parents. For self, spouse and 2 child it is not deducted from salary. I don't know what people crib about ZS (besides WLB) but 20% copay for dependents is a burdon if medical expenses are high (god forbid that that never happens for anyone). I am simply asking questions because I am thinking to join in May. Have to evaluate in all aspects not just salary.
