Hi! I have been offered a role on the Marketing team at ZS Associates. There is a sign-on bonus. The HR rep contacted me to get bank routing info to send the bonus. My first day will not be until August. The background check is still being conducted.
Is this normal practice at ZS Associates? I have not had an experience where I give banking details to a PERSON. I would normally input the info in a secure portal-type of system. It feels off. Please advise. Thanks!

I would suggest, take another organization offer. I have left ZS in 6 months. Thing's are not really good in ZS. On JD they mention ETL developer etc. But on ground you will get something like ops work. Which is also on internal tools, they do not use Informatica etc tools.
Hi OP this is a good offering for AC profile. I don't think you will be able to negotiate beyond this anymore.
ZS has to maintain the parity and bandwidth for all the roles so that they can give you yearly hikes without creating any parity for next role people.
WLB as a developer is better than most groups in ZS

FY: 1.5
SY: 1.5
TY: 2.5
Fourth Y: 3.5
I will get this amount on completion of each year.
This is less to be honest, you being 5 years experienced but ZS will not increase the offer now.
WLB will mostly be bad

Try negotiating the base pay to 15+ at least. They are trying to lowball you. The AC layer starts at 12.5 so definitely you should be getting 15 atleast, considering your workex.

First of please don’t ask for WLB😂 but I can assure you work culture is best at ZS💯, ZS treats it employees like “jamai”.
And for your pay scale ask for 15 gross because ELRP is kind of trap as it is vested over 4 years
(1.5 ,1.5.,2.5,3.5) at the end of each year.
Meanwhile you have 2 months , hunt for more jobs and all the best !!

Lucky dude. Nah ZS doesn't negotiate easily but please ask for 16 gross minimum.
Work Life balance is not good here, trust me on this. I feel depressed working 10-12 hrs a day.
Offer is good & the WLB is worse, expect 12 hours of average work. You could be assigned to more than 1 project at a time.
Also ELRP is conditional.
