I am on staff aug project, so I work mostly on client laptop. I really dislike my company and get depressed and anxious to do tasks that involve my company (like performance review even though I usually get good ratings, or emailing my manager, etc) and I only like interacting with my client. I get anxious having to check my company’s email and try to delay checking it, so it’s all piled up when I check it.
Just want to vent and look for some emotion support to help me rationalize this.

Does anyone have any advice on how to push back on unreasonable demands (e.g. supervisor tells you Friday afternoon they want a complete draft Monday morning, when you're not meeting with the client for a week)? I don't want special treatment because I have kids, but a little consideration would be nice when the night/weekend work isn't actually necessary.

Just started a new job as an LMHC 7 weeks ago. It’s fee for service. Was told during the interview I’d have a full caseload always and have more stable clients. However, I’ve been getting at least 1 no show/cancel per day and found out that I don’t get paid for it unless the client pays. Now with these no show / late cancels, I have less clients and no new intakes are being put in my schedule even though I’ve alerted the intake dept several times. Is it bad I want to leave already?
