High yield saving account or no penalty CD. Both GS Marcus products. And thoughts on which to choose for my emergency fund?

Marcus just reduced rate for no penalty CD to 2.15 which matches its savings rate. You should've pulled the trigger! Regardless, if you still do it, it'll lock in 2.15 when hysa might continue to drop like Ally. No risk. If hysa rate increases just close out the CD.

That was for their 13mo NPCD which was 2.35%. However, just saw they also have a 7mo NPCD at 2.25%

No penalty cd is what i have most of the cash locked into.. can back out penalty free after one week and keep your interest. Don’t see much downside

When CD matures, you have a 10 day grace period to take action. if you don't do anything it will automatically renew at the current rate for the same product. however you may want to review other terms for better rates, i.e. 13mo vs 7mo. So I wouldn't put it on complete auto pilot.

Has anyone ever done a postnuptial agreement? At the time of marriage, my spouse and I were relatively equal in terms of finances. I recently came into a large inheritance, and have also had more rapid career success. I’m not trying to be cynical, just trying to be smart. Nobody thinks they will get divorced. This would make me feel much more comfortable. Any guidance?

Curious for some advice…

I currently have a Cap One Venture card. I have had it for a couple of years now but I am interested in upgrading to a Venture X card.

No promotion has been offered to me to upgrade my existing Venture card to a Venture X card.

Should I wait until that promotion is offered to me? Or would it be dumb to apply for a Venture X card separately and a) hold both cards or b) close out the original Venture card.
