I have had a 60%+ increase in volume from this time last year, but we have not had a new hire in my role to assist with the influx. Additionally, others in my department are overworked and they're delegating down to me.

So not only do I gave more work than ever, I'm doing tasks outside my original role

My supervisor cant get headcount approvals. We are suffering as a department. I don't want to overrule him, but should I go to HR?I'm breaking down at this point and see evidence others are too

Hi Folks, after selecting in LTI, how many days it takes to send you the offer letter ? Because HR told me I will receive it by 2 days but 1 weeks gone but still not get. When I ask HR, she tells me like “I am waiting for the management approval, try to send it by tonight”. Any help any idea ?

What's a really good "difficult" question that you as a candidate can ask the (big law) interviewer?

Context: I had callbacks at a big law firm while i was in law school and after one partner finished her questions and I finished asking my questions, she told me to ask her a really tough question, something to really stump her. l fumbled and am pretty sure that majorly factored into the rejection.

Met a girl today through AM setup. She is a year older to me and earns 1.6X my CTC(more than enough for a good life in a metro city). She seems career oriented but doesn't want to pursue her career abroad and wants the same for her future partner to not go overseas as she would like to stay near to her family in the same state.

I found some extremely provocative and inappropriate TikTok’s of my cousin’s kid today (8 years old). I’m genuinely concerned. My first instinct was to call my cousin (whom I’m close with, like a sis) and tell her but after giving it some time, I’m on the fence. About a year ago, I found inappropriate TikTok’s of a close friend’s kid and told my friend as soon as I found out. I had a question for you all. Do interviewers give their feedback and rating (or score) before your “package” being sent to HC? And if there is a bad or lower rating in one of your interview, does the “package” still get sent to HC knowing that it may not pass (60% possibility).

Hi, how long does Google take to do background check? My recruiter told me that I was approved by HC we discussed my OTE package for GCP L6 Sales Specialist role in NY:

$167 base
$111 commission
$252k RSU's vesting @ 33%,33%, 20%,14% respectively

I requested a start date of 11/8. I was told I should have offer letter in hand 10/18. I don't want to resign my current role untiI I clear background. Any insight on the offer and time frame for background check would be greatly appreciated

What’s the typical timeline between an on-site interview with multiple members to receiving feedback? Recruiter has been very responsive until after my on-site happened two weeks ago, when I was told I would hear back within the next week or so. I understand things drag on for eternity at Google but would be nice to at least know if I didn’t pass 🥲

Hi, I finished my onsite last week and recruiter reached out today saying we’re finalizing the interviews with candidates for the role , and should be in a position to make a final decision on who to progress with by end next week. I am assuming they meant progressing to HC. Does that mean I didn’t do as bad so as not to be outright rejected and not great to move to HC directly :(

Coming from McKinsey, Google health insurance seems a little worse. What other benefits exist that you all actually enjoy the most? I hear people talk a lot about Google benefits, but maybe the onboarding doesn’t do as good a job of showing that ? Side note-yet to join but excited!
