Just let go from a 40 hour per week consulting position where I learned they were paying other consultants 3-4x more per hour. They still really like my work, trust me, and want to work with me on an as-needed basis. I want to charge them an hourly rate similar to all the other consultants. Thoughts? Question for those that are familiar with how severance pay works. I received a package a while back and was paid bi-weekly severance.
