I'd probably lean toward cognitive science, especially if you plan on making your career in business/tech vs. the medical industry.

Ok thanks!!

I honestly think either of these would look great on a resume for an engineering psychology role - the most common undergrad degree is "general psychology". Cognitive science include neuroscience typically. Bio psychology focuses more on the actual biological processes typically, cognition around affect/emotion. So, they are pretty similar. Cognitive science in general is maybe a bit more abstract/discusses more philosophies.

Great thanks

Question about changing careers to be a therapist:
I’m in my mid-30s and currently in HR, which I don’t enjoy. I live in a HCOL (Los Angeles) and make about $100k per year currently. I don’t have any kids so I live comfortably on that. I’ve been considering going back to school to become a therapist, and I was recently laid off so I’m thinking about doing it now (instead of finding another HR job and waiting). (Continued…)

I hope I can gain some insights from the community here. Thank you!
