Hii Sharks, I am currently with 12 L fixed and due for promotion within 6 months then my fixed might go with around 15.5 L with extra variable pay in PwC only. In pwc WFH option is there.

Globant I have been betrayed by Globant HR. I have been offered 27 from globant. HR told me that they are gonna release the offer letter for 25 and will revise it to 27 at 4 days prior to my joining. I was busy with my new house interior work during my notice period so I couldn't apply to other companies for a better offer. Now before joining they are not keeping their words and only giving me 26.75. Is absconding a good idea?

Any idea folks ?
At least 18 + bonus is what you should ask.
Look at it this way; you already have a confirmed hike to 15.5 if you stay back. If you switch after your hike, you should expect something on top of 15.5. Which means if you stay back at PWC and switch in Nov 2022, you are looking at at-least 20.
Now, if you switch now to KPMG, firstly you are loosing your bonus and your promotion at PWC. Additionally, you will also not be eligible for the appraisal cycle here. Which means, you would be bound to work till 2023 Oct at 16.5 LPA.
So a wise decision would be to either stay back and switch later in Nov or Dec. Or if you really want to switch, ask at least 18 so and some bonus to incur your loss.
I hope I was clear enough!
Yeah makes sense, HR not came with 18 + option, so thinking to stay PWC also as you said 👍
WFH is best.. stay in low cost city , close to your loved ones
Man, you got poor negotiation skills. Just 16 from the kpmg that too when you have a hike upcoming at pwc?
I've worked at both. Let me tell you, life at kpmg is harder than pwc at any level. But you'll learn a lot, that I can vouch for. If you can trade off too much work for good pay, ask kpmg to give you at least 19+ lpa. Else better to stick to PwC if you want wlb.
Can you not use that offer to get retained in PwC for 18LPA??
Try to switch after getting promotion.. That will land you at around 22 lpa fixed..
Yup, thinking of the same if kpmg not offering any thing less than 19 L now.
Hey you wait for your promotion and then you can switch...I did the same took promotion in Jan followed by appraisal in April and then put down my paper in April.
Yeah then i will use mostly same strategy if kpmg not offer anything less than 19 L.
