I applied for few SA roles at AWS after getting the SAA certificate and some badges like the “WAF” and “Advanced Migration”. I also optimized my resume recently trying to match what AWS would look for, but I did not get any 1st call or screening interview!
I also applied to some of the roles using friend’s referral. I have more than 15 years in IT infrastructure mainly in Storage systems (EMC, Hitachi) What could be the problem? Thanks.

I owned a business for 6 yrs and had a B2C sales role for 3 yrs after (not SaaS). I’ve now been a B2B2C Key Account Manager at a Fitness Tech scale up for 6 mos and would like to be making more $ so am considering applying to other B2B SaaS companies. I currently own the entire (long) sales cycle from prospecting to account management. I’d like to stay in a similar role in another company. Salary for Customer Success Manager around Boston?

Finished undergrad 2018. Did an internship in the summer at NYC and started as a full-time at 67k. It’s now been a year and finished the year fairly strong. What should I expect to get for next year?

My partner got a City of Toronto offer. Salary band is 104-121k. HR asked for his expectations and he said 115k. HR came back with a 106k offer stating nobody on the team makes that much so they cant offer it. Also said she is unsure if there is any wiggle room if any at all. I’ve looked at everyone on the team with the same titles salary on the sunshine list and the lowest I see is 121k. I assume there is an OT component of some sort but also can’t confirm. Offered role with client for same amount of money but one level higher. Trying to figure out if Worth taking it. It’s my dream role but the pay is the same ( consultant to manager role). Reasons to leave D, work life balance, layoffs scare me, current client has good culture/ work to life balance is 9-5. Is it common to get offers from clients? If so maybe I can wait and get better offer.

Deal management, is it a good career post consulting. Specifically focused on the technology side of the business, not financial number crunching.
