I am way more assertive over the phone, sound much more confident, and I think working remotely accelerated my career quite a bit. I'm 100x more presentable virtually than in person. Virgin in person, Chad in video calls. Pretty sure remote work played a huge role in my early promo. All of a sudden I'm gaining the reputation of being a "leader", which never happened when in person.

Now I'm low key hoping we'll continue to lean remote heavy once things open up. Anyone on the same boat?

Hey guys! I’m looking to shift careers. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 7 years now. Before that I’ve worked in an office, retail, banking, sales and was a correctional officer. I have a BA in criminal justice that I have yet to use. I really want an office job that pays well, but I’ve had no luck finding someone to hire me, actually even getting an interview most likely due to lack of experience. Also, suggest out of 5% bonus, how much do they give to an average employee.
And what is the cycle they consider for performance appraisal, and for bonus. Is it from April to March or Jan to Dec. ?
