I recently went through an interview process for an investment banking role at a well respected mid market bank. I had two rounds of interviews, and the second round was with two VPs. All interviews went very well - conversation was great, and I got enthusiastic verbal feedback during and at the conclusion of each interview. It’s been three weeks and I have heard nothing, even after 2 follow ups to HR. I saw on LinkedIn they hired 2 people. I assume I got rejected - thoughts? What do I do next?

I ordered a Datejust for my wife last November and put down a 20% deposit. I was told by AD it could be 3-4 months. He then told me they are aiming to fulfill all orders by end of June. He now says it’ll be at least three more months. No reason not to trust him, but getting frustrated. The watch is pretty basic - oyster steel bracelet, domed bezel and silver dial.
