I feel like I’m the only one in my office that really understands what’s going on. I live downtown in a major city and saw the extreme violence out my window. My office got vandalized and nobody in my office really seemed to understand. I somehow feel good only after reading some material than listening to the classes. Has anyone passed the exam just by reading and practicing, without watching any videos?

I left my job before my 1 year relocation clause expired. I was supposed to have to pay back my relocation stipend, but when I asked HR my last weekend of employment, I was told someone would eventually reach out to collect the money/go over payment options once “the systems updated with my separation status”. 3 months later and still haven’t hear anything. I recently moved into a role as a program manager. Prior to this, I worked at the same company in different roles. The new job entails a fair amount of what I would consider office manager-like tasks (organizing and scheduling meetings for executives, admin stuff). There are other meatier aspects of the job that I enjoy. Other times I feel like I am serving as someone’s PA. Is this normal? Just wondering if this is an outlying case or if these tasks do often fall to Program Managers.

Are there any actual Product Managers here? Or is there a better Bowl I’m supposed to be in? I’m a Software Product Manager (mobile app / IoT).

I have a VERY long rant to get through. Please buckle in. My first PM job was at an agency where “protect the creative” was a PM mantra. My current agency see’s an entire team working 50hr weeks for months as a non problem. Wont recognize that FOUR creatives quitting in a 5 month span is a problem and consistently hand out due Monday 10am work on Fridays at 7pm. I am so sick and tired of the “its advertising - it’s just the industry “. The fk it is. It’s poor planning, mismanagement and abuse.
