Does your agency do exit interviews, or just tell people they’ll get a survey/call and never actually send/ schedule it? If yours does, have you seen any adjustments to fix the causes of the hemorrhaging of employees? Or do they just exist to make people feel heard?
Returning to work from leave next week. Joining a completely new team and role. What would you do on your first day/couple weeks?

Anyone in Deloitte Strategy and Analytics that could give me a referral? Top performer in my current practice but want to leave due to the lack of diversity at the management level.
Posted in Big 4 bowl but reposting here: Looking to move into a general Consulting Staff/Business Transformation/Strategy position mid-late 2022. Was eyeing a Summer/Fall 2022 Business Transformation Staff position at EY in particular, but it has dropped off. Any idea of when positions like that will typically open up across most firms? Want to get in early, open to any firm. I do not have an MBA, but I am client facing and work in commercial markets currently. TYIA!

SOS: How should I prepare for a case study interview with less than 24 hours to spare? A recruiter from Deloitte just reached out to me about interviewing tomorrow for a Tech Strategy Consultant position, which will include a case study. I’ve never done one before, so I’m kind of freaking out!! What’s the best way to prepare with such short notice? Deloitte

Hi all, Need your advice. One of our worker’s wife is fighting cancer. We know that he needs to take care of her and work the same time to cover medical bills. So we decided to collect money for him. Should I do it secretly and only let him know after I’m done collecting money or should I get his permission first? I need to figure out which way would be less uncomfortable for him. Thanks!
Kind of embarrassed to ask this, but how does one ask for a sign on bonus? I’ve never asked for one but I always hear about them. At what stage do you ask and how do you phrase it? I’m usually really bad at talking about/negotiating pay and it’s something I’m trying to work on when I eventually switch firms.
Just curious to hear from Other fishes - how much of your salary do you invest in 401k? Myself and my husband so 12% each also because we are not us citizens yet. But thinking of maximizing it to 18%
Let’s hear the UG and MBA intern offers!
To the folks that don’t want to get the vaccine, what is your reason? This seems like a strange hill to die on considering people losing their livelihood over this
I was HC approved, but told that the hiring manager is still deciding on which candidate to offer the job to. How often are folks successfully matched with teams they didn’t initially interview for?
Do agencies that put the most emphasis on taking care of their people (hiring, good management, no assholes, good salaries) turn out the best work?
For those of you with immediate family members who are at high risk, how are you doing? I find myself being very anxious and stressed about my father getting sick.
Has anyone submitted grad school applications while working in tech sales? Or have any managers here managed employees who’ve gone through this process? I know in roles like finance and consulting, grad or business school is part of the next step in employees’ careers so employers are supportive. I’m not sure it’s the same for tech roles. Honest opinion—will my desire to go to grad school disincentivize my employer to invest in me?
How hard is it to find an entry level UX researcher position in the midwest? (Also, open to remote) I have: - Psychology degree - UX Design Certification - 2 years experience in a tech start-up and have built processes company-wide
Transition to HRBP - which Cert? I’ve got the time and experience (mostly) to sit for the PHR or SHRM-CP. What are your recommendations based on industry experience. Also note I’m pivoting from a program director role.
I am unable to manage my work and GMAT preparation. I work in IT Risk Advisory and the work culture (India 🙄) and hours are crazy (10-12 hours avg). I am behind my targets as per my study plan (targeting ~750) - can only manage to get in 1-2.5 hours of prep daily/alternate days, I try to study on weekends but it's difficult as I am burnt out from the work. Need advice from people who have faced and cracked this. I like my work and would prefer to grow and be a top performer as well
Is it tough/ a lot different to go from a general corporate tax role in which you work on different industries to a financial service industry (corporate tax manager)
I was called back for a final round interview, but would need to do so either next week or in January due to holidays. Would pushing it to after the holidays be a bad move?
What do you do when you legitimately have run out of PTO because you’re sick a lot? I take prescribed medication that weakens my immune system but don’t want to explain that if I can avoid it.

AA concierge key vs UA Global Services. Which is better? Anyone have both? Does Delta have something similar (invitation only status above top tier)?
What is the difference between an Associate Consultant role (in MBB) vs. a Consulting/Business Analyst role (in McK/Big 4/ACN)? Would the former be a step up from the latter, or they are lateral?
