Hit me with the buzzwords you hate right now. I'm seeing "data visualization" so often in EVERYTHING I read that it's making my head spin.

"Content is King." No, marketing isn't a monarchy, cut that out.

"Operationalize." Dude. Just say "DO."

oooh gosh, where to start?! In an industry where language matters to such a high degree, you would think we'd be better at using terms that make sense. Or, at least, that are less annoying.

Wow, there's so many of them. "Constituent parts" (that literally just means "part parts"), "axiom", and "environmentally conscious". Basically anything that can be said in a shorter and less pretentious way. It's hard to find anyone in this industry that doesn't talk in buzzwords and honestly it's so frustrating

For me it's the acronyms. Yeah, I know your B2B needs to improve their ROI for the CMS but what's wrong with using actual words once in awhile...?

Visa Sponsorship UK - Operations, CS, Recruitment

Hey everyone,

I may be relocating to the UK for a role after the new year, but my wife won't be able to come with me initially.

However she's just been laid-off from her Ops Management role for a tech company in the EU and needs a new role quickly. (just before Christmas!)

Would love if anyone has a role in Rome, Italy, or remote, or UK with Visa sponsorship (Tier 2 Skilled Worker) untill I can swap her onto a spouse Visa.

Any referrals?

Since moving to the US, all the complaints around beauty standards revolve around how blonde hair is the epitome of beauty/hotness, but I’ve never wanted blonde hair…? I mainly focus on hair/skin health and vibrance, homogeneity of features, form fitness, etc.. Hurts that I see so many women and influencers with damaged bleached blonde hair even though they looked more beautiful before with brown, black, or red hair. I’ll never change to please anyone but myself ✌️

How far in advance of a sprint do you typically refine and estimate stories so that they are ready? I’m finding my company leaves it too late. E.g days before the beginning of a sprint or in most cases during a sprint to be worked on immediately. It seems far too disorganised from my point of view. What would you recommend?
