Roadkillnights is a terrible campaign name regardless, the timing only amplifies that
It could not be less of a stretch.
Explain
You guys realize a Dodge Challenger was used to mow down a bunch of people yesterday in Virginia, right?
That's a stretch.
Wild they havent taken it down and released a statement. Pretty horrendous.
#RoadKillNights?
I can't believe that's still up. Holy crap.
Check out their Facebook page. There are four of those horrific #RoadkillNights videos on their wall that got posted Saturday morning. Check the edit history on each of those posts and you'll see that Dodge quietly changed the post copy on Sunday morning to remove the mention of Roadkill Nights.
Frankly, I think this makes it even worse that they are totally silent and ignoring all the outcry about it on Twitter. I don't see outcry on their Facebook page (not really many comments on those videos at all yesterday), which could mean either people didn't notice or Dodge is deleting comments on their posts.
Also still plastered all over www.dodgegarage.com
Mediabrands Publishing is Dodge's social media agency of record.
www.twitter.com/dodge for reference
It's the name of an event...
It's a stretch.
Maybe they are trying to appeal the redneck niche, road kills are a big part of their diets. Look it up.
