I got pretty drunk and tried to convince my girlfriend I could kick a field goal from the 20 yard line within three tries (party was at College Football Hall of Fame - they have a turf field and an upright)

I know there have been a million questions about building holiday tipping floating around but haven’t seen this addressed: are checks ok instead of cash? I give several hundred in total and all that cash makes me kind of nervous especially because I don’t see everyone to hand them out individually.

Received verbal offer for position that I’m considering. Assuming I accept, recruiter advised not to give notice until after clearing background check. I have a pending I-485 and my case was recently “ready to be scheduled for an interview” about 2 weeks ago. I haven’t traveled to my home country for 3 years and was looking forward to going this December … I have a valid H1b that expires in 2023 and would need to get it stamped. There are appts available in my home country. However I don’t have AP (did not apply due to valid H1b). Is there any risk to my GC application if I travel abroad and get a H1b stamp to re-enter the US?
