My goal was to make 35-50% per trade and I was able to do it 3-4 times a week. The key is to pick a strategy and stick with it no matter what.
I had to stop due to Deloitte not allowing my brokerage of choice.
I pull 2-3k per trade. 2x a month.

If I could day trade - 80% of my options trades make at least 5% gain within the same day I place the trade. The issue is I can't always exit when I need to. So I'm closer to a 40/60 ratio. I'm converting to a cash account so I have the ability to day trade.
I don't make more than $500 a day. But that is my 2 cents regardless.
Bruh.. nobody here is averaging 6 figures on the side of consulting from day trading...
Work has been chill so I have been able to have my laptop on the side to see the market. Just started option trading last Thursday and so far making 50% return. Not a lot of money but I am happy to work from home and keep doing this.

I made 7 round trip trades today on /es and averaged about 8 points profit per trade. Michael Beaton also had a good day shorting /es.
Op total $ should not matter. What matters is risk reward and win percentage as you should be able to scale a strategy accordingly.
D2 is right - by definition - risk / reward is a percentage based ratio not value based
