Honest confession: my life pre and post-covid was pretty much the same. What can I say? I'm a homebody!

Same, some of us were way ahead of the game when it comes to working from home

You're not the only one, I like my life at home as well

There are many of us who are not affected by the change due to the pandemic, but if you were used to being at home before the pandemic, there is not much change that you can suffer and even more so considering that many companies changed their work modality. to remote locations.

Well, the opposite happened to me, I was not a homebody, basically, I suffered when I had days off. But after the pandemic started I suffered for the first 6 months, then I got used to it, and now it is quite difficult for me to leave my house to my office, now I'm a homebody.

In my case I stopped being a homebody so quickly I had the opportunity, I was a housewife, but when I was locked up with my wife and children I felt that madness was my best friend, from then on I said that when I had the opportunity I would get out of my house, now my husband works from home and I work from my new office.

For me home life is the best in the world, it is the best way to be happy, I have a very quiet life in the mountains of Wisconsin. I dedicate myself to marketing work, and my inspiration is loneliness. Am I a weird person?

I feel so identified with your comment, leaving aside that I lost many friends and family because of the virus, the worst thing in my life. My work life did not change, I already worked from home, and then I had to work even more. So, I didn't feel any major change.

I joked about this during the first year of the pandemic. Then it started sinking in that the world can stop and nothing changes for me....is that really the life I want? There is nothing wrong with being introverted, but it hit me how few hobbies and friends I have. I've been overhauling my life ever since.

For the sake of my mental health I have GOT to get some sort of physical routine going, but it was 12 degrees today so there is no way I’m running in that weather. Should I pick up some sort of at-home workout routine? Go to a gym during off peak hours when it’s empty? Want something I can gently ease into; I’ve been an absolute sloth the last few months.

An employee came to me in confidence to raise concern about a colleague of hers who speaks often about guns and how many he owns, etc. Based on what she's described, I don't believe this person has been threatened in any way, but it's clear that the situation is making her feel very uncomfortable - especially given recent events. What, if anything, can I or should I do to help? The company is on the smaller side, so there's really no option to move either employee to a different team.
