Honest opinion. What do hiring managers in US/UK/EU think about an Indian trying for international roles and trying to relocate there?

Should I stay in FP&A (currently at pr agency) or go into product control at a big bank 🤔? For context I’m the lead finalist for a product control role.

At present I am working in ICICI Bank NRI department Product team . Its 3 months, I was assured some different job role buy now I am asked to do something else . I don't see any growth in this role , I am not able to enhance my skill.

Had my performance review August 3rd. My boss could tell I was upset about a messily 5% raise after getting my degree etc. (recent post). He asked what range I’d like to be in, and I responded in a fashionable matter by comparing median salaries in the area. He said he would try and get me in that range. But has taken over a month to “think” about it. There shouldn’t really be much to think about? Either he wants me or he doesn’t, right? At this point I’m losing money and and motivation.

Question about remote job negotiations

I'm currently interviewing for a remote role for a company based in NY.

The thing is I'm based in a different city (southern U.S.)

My question is:

When it comes time to talk compensation, should I base the market rate for the role on my city of residence or NY?

Would it make sense to ask them directly how they determine comp for NY-bases vs. other city-based employees?

Anyone have experience with this?

Has there been a mass exodus at firms like Jones Day that don’t give bonuses? Corporate work is brutal right now and the money is the only thing that would make it (somewhat) worth it.

My company are still facing delays with doors, particularly a specific door that there's none in UK at moment. Anyway 1 customer has been calling in for updates regularly (loveley lady and very understanding, door is for her sons bedroom) called my sales guy today, advised she might need to look at other doors as her sons turned 13 today and will be wanting to have a ham shank in his room and it's something she'd rather not witness 😀.
