Honest question for those that are going to vote for Trump in Nov. Please enlighten me as to why? What specific policies has he accomplished in the last 3.5 years or intends to accomplish in the next 4 that makes you jump to vote for him? With the current mess with Covid, foreign relations, and racial tensions why is he the best person for the job?

Anti-Trump folks please dont respond. I would like to genuinely hear from those that think Trump is the best person for the job.

Trump is four more years of what we already know - liberals will get angry at whatever he does, most of his policies will get blocked by democrats, and his primary policies won’t get implemented the way they were promised.

He was a decent president pre-crisis: record low unemployment, removing troops from the Middle East, record high GDP, significant tax cuts, built some wall (not enough compared to what was promised), removing the Obamacare individual mandate penalty, Space Force, two respectable Supreme Court judges, pushing back against China, improving relations between US/Russia and US/North Korea.

I don’t think he’s done well in times of crisis, that being said I doubt Hillary or Biden would have handled these issues well either. Biden could very likely get full-on Alzheimer’s or Dementia while in office, that’s a risk I’d prefer not to take. I trust that in a year or two we will be relatively back to normal in regards to COVID and racial issues, and I’d prefer to have Trump as a businessman at the helm of helping businesses and people recover after the pandemic over Biden.

Significant tax cuts for corporations. Please don't forget your tax "cut" expires after 5 years. And I personally don't want a businessman who bankrupted a casino and declared bankruptcy multiple times at the helm of anything.

Trump is a clown but he is better than Biden with AOC policies - we don’t get Biden 2008 we get Biden 2020 and while politicians will say or do anything to get elected Biden’ s willingness to adopt the socialist agenda is frightening -

1 wants to stop fracking - the US is getting near to energy independence and they want to kill this and go with some green agenda with politically favored companies - it failed in Obama’s presidency and will fail again - in fact the energy sector was the only part of the economy that grew in Barry’s 1st term - these policies will lead to millions of lost jobs and us spending hundreds of billions on Muslim energy - some of which will be diverted to fund terrorists or governments opposed to us

2 Significant increase in taxes - might work for awhile but has never worked anywhere it’s been tried always leads to stagnation (Britain 83 percent 1974) - you can have a better tax system but that rates they are proposing only lead to a stagnation and people spending significant time and treasure avoiding - there are numerous examples

3 bailing out the state pensions - we know this will come - all those over generous promises a Biden Administration will bail out the states that promised more that they can pay - the states (primarily dark blue) will never have to reform and your taxes will go so some political hack in Illinois can retire at full pay at 50 but you work till 65 for half of that (so union folks can kick back to their masters)

4 Nationalized Healthcare - It’s Obamacare on steroids - all of the costs of the old system but now with much worse service - of course no malpractice reform - can’t have the trial lawyers having their payouts cut so they can kickback to Democrats

5. Government over reach - if you like the Obama Administration’s over reach and out of control government agencies just wait for Obama’s third term - can’t wait to see the abuses at the IRS -

Of course it will be the Marxist’s zealots controlling all of this while drooling Biden is lost in his own dementia wonderland

They keep saying they want equality- well just look at Venezuela once the richest country in South America now almost everyone is equal - oppressed, impoverished and starving and it only took 20 years

I'm undecided still.

But if I choose to it will be because I judge Trumps relative ineffectiveness to be better for the country than Biden's increasingly leftist positions.

That plus tax cuts...

like

He has absolutely talked about shifting funding, which is defunding in my mind.

I will say that at least I doubt hes up for using federal forces the way our current presidebt is..,

I voted him for all his speeches and toasts and addresses, they are like stand up comedy. Comedy is not easy. It’s always like watching a child walking too close to the edge of the Grand Canyon and hoping he doesn’t fall in.

funny

Some people just want to watch the world burn 😂

So 3exactly what policies? Most of the answers are just fear based "not the liberals".

Does our anialation of other world powers not matter? What about his response to covid? He certainly is not responsible for the virus. BUT he most certainly is responsible for the response. Average daily infection rate of industrialized countries is 400. The U.S. is 70,000. He has no plan for dealing with the virus other than to say "one day itll just disappear ".

Saying Trump has done good for the economy is literally like having a 4year old fly a plane that is on auto pilot. Your doing great just dont touch anything.

Funny the biggest arguement for not voting for Biden is the libs will destroy the economy. Every president since Carter the economy has done better under democratic control. I was shocked myself. Under both Bushs and now Trump the economy is in bad shape.

I will say his response to China was a step in the right direction. I'll give him that. It just shouldn't have been via Twitter and the use of import/export taxes which we know we foot the bill for via price increase and subsidies to farmers.

So the conclusion you as Trump supporters have made/come to is that you are voting for Trump not for any policies he has. WHICH THERE ARE NONE. But based outta fear. I choose hope for our country and not fear.

I was impartial to him being elected the first time around. I wanted to see what an outsider would do. I've seen enough. He is completely clueless, and that is putting it nicely. From a business perspective he has run almost every single business into bankruptcy. And the ones that have succeeded he has short changed his way to the top. Hell, anyone with money could buy NY Real estate and watch it increase in value over the last 20-30 years.

I Digress though.

like

I agree...Trump did nothing to make the economy what it is. But unfortunately I think some of Hilary or Bidens policies would be actively bad...

I think most of them will say tax cuts. Whatever you think about tax cuts, that’s been the main political win this administration

I think it's 'owned the libs'

funny

Border security, substantive tax reform, better trade deals, streamlined regulatory environment. ISIS is virtually gone, and we haven’t gotten dragged into another boondoggle in the Middle East.

Biden wants to raise taxes, ban fracking (in turn, strip us of our energy independence), impose burdensome regulations. Open the floodgates for unchecked illegal immigration, and then make us pay for their warfare.

Plus it seems more or less a forgone conclusion that he will 1) not run for a second term and 2) his VP will be the real one in power. Biden would more or less be a figurehead ruler.

Anyone else notice a trend with the mass amounts of layoffs in tech? Why are all their resumes so jumpy? Not like 2-5 years jumpy, like few months at a time jumpy? But still can land a position with similar tech giants? IMO, lots of these people get hired by their rich friends, stay a few months before someone realized they aren’t qualified and were just a recommendation from a current employee. Then repeat that process over and over until your company is down 50%
