Honest question. Has anyone had their mind changed in one of the countless opening x closing the economy threads? All threads become a nasty fight, or a snark fest, or someone's called a Karen and then there's a nasty fight.

I am always surprised and disappointed by colleagues who act like friends, but as soon as you change either grade level, school location, or career position, you never hear from them again. What is your take on this?
