do big 4 do TN visas for manager level roles?
I agree. EY’s V&I people are garbage.
Idk but I always had a good experience with them, they were well within the communication timeline (replying within 24 hours) and were helpful in all possible ways. I think we also need to be quite mindful that you can’t bug them for every single question. They are not sitting up there with only task to replying back to emails (which they receive from all of US EY offices). So take a step back and appreciate for all the efforts they do put to help us out.
EY4, what you said is right. I’ve had no issues with them, and they always respond back within 48 hours at max.
No, don’t jump.
I stopped bothering to ask anything to them . They are always too busy to do their job . And the lawyers have stopped responding too asking us to get in touch with V&I. If they remove that layer of v&i things would be so much better
My H1B got an RFE this year but even after EY V&I team got the RFE, it took them a full month to forward it to me for action! Despite my continuous emails asking for it. Turned out that they had emailed it as soon as they got it but forgot to put my email address in the TO section of the email, leaving it blank! And this was discovered after a full month of me emailing them continously asking why I'm not getting the RFE for my response!
Eventually they sent the RFE to USCIS but so late that it reached 1 day before the last possible day that USCIS was gonna allow it!! It's astonishingly bad.
Like I said - they’re the worst and most embarrassing component of EY
Contact the main one... I forget her name. Shari something... She's an African American lady. Quite helpful. But not great with response time.. Something is better than nothing!
Shakeria? She is good but won’t help. Look who is your V&I consultant. Every group has one. You can see who is yours from the link which is there on the LCA emails they keep sending.
Just imagine if we had been working the way people at EY Law firm work.
We would all be fired. I don’t understand why that people aren’t held to the same standard as us...
EY1 and 2, why don't you ask around internal, gather a bunch of you and escalate to your pillar partners? Literally, the immigration team's only job is to help out with immigration matters.
How would you go about VP? I’d be interested in approaching this like you said
Agreed. I had to struggle so much for my RFE, ultimately did everything on my own and got it approved!
It’s not just EY but the same here in D also.
Not sure, I had an urgent situation just couple of days back and V&I team was a great help, not sure if everyone here are having too High of expectations from them but in my opinion they have improved a lot and been great at least in all my dealings so far.
I have heard a case where the law firm submitted the premium processing cheque with a wrong amount
