I'm also not one to agree with Ben Shapiro but I think the union fights have gotten so messy. Teachers are great but they're not scientists and they're not policymakers. They are arguably essential workers.

However in many school districts, thinking specifically here about the mess in Chicago, there is a history of mistrust between the teachers union and school district. It's just sad that politics has become more important than the kids and parents welfare.

Dear Bowl Members,

I beleive all the members of this group are in the communication and branding industry - a field where proactive communication and community participation ideally should be the highest but it's not so as of now. Instead, consulting, tech, developer bowls are more active than this bowl.

I request all of you to be proactive and spend 15 minutes a day or every two days to answer the queries posted by members. We can make a difference to someone's life/career with a response.

Wanted to learn as this is something new to me but what are some best practices of programme management?

I have been really contemplating leaving my company for quite sometime now. Here’s why: 1) recently went and got my MBA completed summer 21 2) I’m nowhere near the salary range I should be in 3) the role I’m currently in is a job that should be two levels(pay grades) higher than what it is 4) my boss is a very nit picky person and we do not collaborate very well at all. What is stopping me from leaving is that I have established rapport within the company, access to senior leaders, and flights

I am a recent college grad and have been working at a biotech company in the Bay Area for 3 months now. It is a contract-to-hire position so I’ll be getting hired in another 3 months. I am unaware of what the salary is supposed to look like for this position, since I am the only analytical chemist RA. Glassdoor says the average pay is 80k for an RA. However, because I am the only RA in analytical, I have to juggle a lot of responsibilities. When the time comes, what salary should I shoot for?

Hi everyone, I just found this bowl because I was thinking about starting one if one didn’t already exist. I hope this is a great place to discuss how to live out a conservative worldview for our students to emulate. I look forward to being a part of the conversation.

A little under 2 months as a first year associate in tas and I still feel like I'm not adding enough value. Like when I get work I do it, but I still feel like everyone else like senior associate and manager are working way more harder and here I am constantly asking for more work. Is this common? Part of me feels bad for constantly annoying them and asking for work

As someone who is pro-choice, people on the left don’t understand why people on the right are pro-life, and it shows. The discourse is never with the desire to understand each other, it’s only to vilify, which will never produce a productive outcome if your goal is to change people’s minds.

To the Europeans that claimed that America is a laughing stock earlier - Europe's energy dependency rate has risen to 58% (as of 2018), mostly dependent on fossil fuels from Russia. The US now exports more energy than imports (as of 2019).

The US and Canada are now uniquely positioned in the world to aggressively expand renewables without sacrificing energy independence. Probably won't have to manufacture renewables in parts of the world that rely heavily on energy sources like coal too.
