Honestly why do recruiters not reply/ghost instead of just saying no?! A simple rejection email can bring closure instead of just going radio silent. Is there some trick that I don’t know about?

Working in Deloitte from 7 months (as con) and I didn't get Spot Award or any other award. My performance is above average. In linkedin, I see almost all new joiners have received this and bragged about this, although I have no intention of doing this but mera award kaha hai?

Does Capgemini do like this ? HR saying since last two weeks that offer will generate today , tomorrow like this . But they didn't yet . Next week my joining so can I hope with Capgemini or they will hold me till last day then they will generate so that I couldn't counter ?

Advice on follow up email. I had an informal interview with a firm and it went extremely well. I was told I would be a good fit with the firm and they liked the new perspective I’d bring as a plaintiff attorney switching sides to employment defense. I was told the partners are all very busy and it would be a couple weeks until I heard about a formal interview. I sent a follow up email a week later to display my interest. It’s been 8 days with no response. Do I reach out again?

Sometimes I get so overwhelmed by everything I have to do that I freeze and can’t get any work done at all. What are some ways you break down all of the tasks on your to-do list and make it all seem more digestible?

Any interview tips for a manager role? I'm coming from a smaller consulting firm with a lot of experience filling prominent interim executive positions at large well known health systems. The people im interviewing with have largely big 4 backgrounds but i am very comfortable with the projects and managerial roles the job description entails, but i am wondering if you big boys have any particular things you look for when youre hiring for this type of role, or any sort of preemptive judgements for those that dont come from big consulting firms. The manager role at this company is two levels below partner (with only sr. Manager in between). Thoughts?

Anyone few like this could be the end to big cities as we currently know it. In regards to, if (advertising) jobs continue to allow for remote work, why pay $$$ in rent to live in NYC etc.
