Geez I saw somewhere that the new hire package is higher than this

FYI - There’s significant differences between the career models…the traditional consulting path which leads to Partner, requires heavy business development, market eminence, recruiting, coaching a higher # of folks, and other firm initiatives all on top of client project (hence why the pay is on a different scale).
My new hire salary at EY 5 years ago with 0yoe was higher than this :/ youre being way underpaid.
Oh for sure. I mentioned in another comment I’m in a consulting model D has that was supposed to be better WLB but less pay. But COVID turned that upside down since travel is less for most anyway.
Even a lateral jump from Consultant-Consultant would jump me like $20k

Your role is not really Consulting work, sounds more internal with niche focus. Given you’re in the delivery center talent model and not in the traditional consulting path, I’m not sure that you’ll make more at other Big 4s but you can always try.
I've positioned myself to be in/with Core than USDC. All of my projects have been with Core leadership structure.

Just here to say that I’m sorry you’re underpaid.

What’s your level? And I’m assuming you’re client facing?
I’m a Consultant (but with the Deloitte model I’m in, the internal name is a bit different) and yes, client facing.
Im a solution specialist too. I make 94 now after last years raises. Wondering if i could get similar elsewhere cause i’m 3 years in and burnt out already lol
I'm an SA and started Summer 2021. So I'm on track for promo next summer which would likely jump me to something like mid $80s?
So ya if I feel like a jump to another org's "Core" equivalent would put me at $95-100
I would look into switching models to Core. We do plenty of that kind of work and you'll get paid significantly better.
Working on that with my project manager but not sure if it’s make more sense to push for it now or wait until promo time next summer. I’d rather go now but definitely a lot of hurdles

74k is below starting pay for many firms.
